Don Low

Don Low was born and raised in Singapore in 1970. He became a self-taught artist at a very young age, as art education was not encouraged in Singapore at that time. After finishing an engineering degree and working as an engineer for 3 years, Don became a freelance artist, eventually discovering a brand new and exciting world ahead of him. He has never considered going back to engineering again. After 10 years working as a web animator, book illustrator, graphic designer and comic book artist, he still considers himself a student. He is always finding new ways to put forth stories and concepts. Currently, Don is a freelance illustrator who is residing in Savannah, Georgia, where he is pursuing his MFA in Animation at Savannah College of Art and Design, sponsored by the Media Development Authority of Singapore.

Kripa Joshi

Kripa Joshi is a freelance illustrator and comic artist from Nepal. She is a Fulbright Scholar who completed her MFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Humor is an important aspect in all her work. Her visual language is inspired by the folk and traditional art from Nepal and India.

Kwong (Constant Thing)

Kwong is an illustrator and graphic designer. He loves to draw, read comics and watch cartoons! He has worked on various print, web and multimedia productions, including story book illustrations; game card character design; logo design; interactive learning programs incorporating animation; as well as corporate website design.

Teodora Sirko

Teodora is a Romanian freelance illustrator who has worked in children's publishing since 2005. She graduated from the Faculty of Letters at the West University of Timisoara and became a literature teacher, but soon discovered the wonderful world of art and illustration to which she dedicated herself completely, beginning with game graphics, web design, and continuing with children's books. She works in pencil, pen & ink and watercolor, and is proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop digital art.

Violeta Dabija

Violeta Dabija is a professional freelance children's book illustrator with 6 years of experience. She has a BA degree in Fine Arts/Graphics and has published over 25 books. Working in both traditional and digital media with a passion for whimsical, fun or fairy-tale illustrations, she is particularly interested in children's book illustration but also is very familiar with greeting cards, t-shirts and editorial illustration. Her work was recently selected for the 07/08 Edition of 200 Best Illustrators worldwide. In addition to illustrating Speakaboos stories, Violeta also is responsible for the homepage design on Speakaboos.com.
